Classes for Divorcing Parents
A four-hour interactive class designed to help parents nurture their children through the difficult process of divorce. This class also contains a children’s group program that provides an opportunity for kids to engage in age-appropriate activities such as games and art projects, while processing feelings about divorce and learning important coping strategies. The children's program is open to all children ages 6 to 18, whose parents are enrolled in the Saturday class at DePelchin’s Memorial campus. Co-Parenting For Kids Sake A four-week course for parents who desire more in-depth strategies to parenting children of a divided household. This 2-hour class is held once per week for 4 weeks, and provides parents with more skills and resources to address more difficult co-parenting challenges. All classes meet Harris, Montogomery, Brazoria, and Ft. Bend County Family Law Court requirements. Divorce classes will cover topics such as:
