Annual Fund

Gifts to the annual fund are based on general, unrestricted gifts made during the calendar year. The annual fund helps close the gap between the estimated cost and real cost of supporting the programs and services at DePelchin Children’s Center. Gifts to the endowment, Foundation for DePelchin, and the annual fund relieve DePelchin’s reliance on other funding streams. While spending from the endowment is limited and restricted each year, the annual fund provides flexible, immediate funds that allow DePelchin to respond to important, unexpected needs.

The cost of care is expensive, and your support enables DePelchin to continue to improve the quality of its programs and expand programs into communities in great need.

Every dollar contributed to the annual fund supports life-changing programs such as:

  • Support a child in residential treatment for one week - $2,100
  • Clinical assessment of autism for one child - $1,500
  • One month of support for one parenting teen mother and her child - $1,350
  • Three months of psychiatric treatment for one child with mental illness - $900
  • Three months of psychological counseling for one adoptive family - $300

Last year, DePelchin served more than 20,000 children and families through 30 different compressive programs and services. Your contribution, large or small, is crucial to DePelchin’s ability to provide quality services to thousands of families each year. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of so many children!

87 cents of every dollar goes to programs and services at DePelchin Children’s Center
11 cents per dollar go to administration costs
02 cents of every dollar goes to fundraising costs
